The G5 Sahel Defense College opened its doors to the European Union on September 23, 2021 for the pre-deployment training of the PCIAT and the staff of the Fuseaux Staff. This ceremony was chaired by His Excellency Yemdaogo Eric TIARE who had alongside the EU Ambassador in Nouakchott, the diplomats, the Mauritanian Military authorities including the Director of the Defense College, Brigadier General Brahim Vall Cheibani CHEIKH AHMED .
