Thus, the graduate officer, after his training at the G5 Sahel defense college, must have:

• Deepen his tactical reasoning capacity and develop an operational and strategic reasoning allowing him to serve immediately in a high-level national or multinational staff,
•  Mastered the operational planning method,
• Deepened his ability to exercise responsibilities in high-level staffs and central administration in an inter-ministerial framework,
• Deepened his knowledge of the other armies of the Sahel, allowing to reinforce the interoperability of the G5 Sahel armies,
• Developed his academic knowledge on the Sahelo-Saharan environment,
• Reinforce his command skills thanks to numerous and diverse scenarios,
• Mastered the realization of projects,
• Refined his ability to be a force for proposals to political authorities,
• Integrated a network of Sahelian officers by sharing for a year the life of officers from G5 countries,
• Participated in the reflection around the defense and security issues on the Sahel region and African Continent,
