The Board of Directors (CA) sets the main orientations of the training action at the College, approves the budget, and verifies the execution, according to the management rules in force. It meets in ordinary session once a year, in May and as many times as necessary when convened by its president.
- The Board of Directors (BOC) is chaired by the G5 Sahel Defence and Security Expert.
- The following are ex officio members:

• The director of CDG5S.
• The head of the training body in each of the armies of the G5 Sahel States or his representative.
• A military intendant of one of the G5 Sahel states, in turn, other than the one from which the head of the Administrative and Financial Service of the College comes.

- The Board of Directors (BOD) may call on any person deemed necessary. The report on the implementation of the budget of the College is presented by the Military Intendant of the College.
- The Board of Directors communicates to the G5 Sahel States, via the Permanent Secretariat, their quotas, according to the agreed repair key.
- The Board of Directors reports to CDS on the annual results of CDG5S.
