On April 22, 2021, the G5 Sahel Defense College, the only multinational war school based in Nouakchott and belonging to the G5 Sahel, received a visit from a high and strong delegation from the European Union.

  The exchanges made it possible to share the concerns and to obtain promises to perpetuate the financial support of the European Union for the College in the light of the results obtained in three operations and with regard to the long-term ambitions, namely to make the College a center of excellence for high-level military education.
