The G5 Sahel College is organizing a VIP day 2022

The G5 Sahel College organized, on Thursday June 2, 2022, on the occasion of the closing of the fourth edition of the "Adrar" operational exercise, a VIP day (open doors) for military attaches and commanders of trainings.

This exercise aims to familiarize the military leaders of all arms (trainees of the 4th promotion) from the five G5 Sahel countries and the Army, Navy, Air, Gendarmerie and Guard corps with the planning and conduct of operations within the framework of a Joint Command Post in a regional or international theater of operation.

In a word delivered on this occasion, Brigadier General Brahim Vall ould Cheibany Cheikh Ahmed stressed that this day is of particular importance because it enshrines the closing of the fourth exercise of the College completed after ten months of continuous work.

A period, he added, marked by sustained training in the areas of military conflict planning and management.

The Commander of the G5 Sahel College stressed that the presentations made on this occasion, which has become a tradition, were made by officers from the five countries of the organization who took part, during their successful training, in the different stages of this exercise from planning to execution. Which, he continued, means that they made the most of their stay at the College which will undoubtedly mark the exercise of their missions in the field.

The presentation of the different stages of the exercise took place in the presence of Brigadier General Souleymane ould Aboude Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense and several formation commanders, staff officers, representatives of the Executive Secretariat of the G5 Sahel and military attachés accredited in our country.
